McMaster Endoscopic
Transorbital Course
Event Overview
New in 2025, this course will discuss and explore advances in the innovative field of endoscopic transorbital surgery. Attendees will work with cadveric specimens to explore the specific and complex anatomy and practise techniques associated with the transorbital approach. Distinguished faculty who are experts in their field will deliver presentations and demonstrations relevant to the development of advanced transorbital surgical techniques and discuss recent advances in research and clinical experiences in this growing niche of skull base surgery. The target audience includes junior staff and fellows from Neurosurgery, ENT or Oculoplastic surgery interested in learning or advancing their techniques using the transorbital approach. We will have 10 cadaveric specimens and are fortunate to have support from Stryker and Storz.
This event is chaired by Dr. Kesh Reddy, Dr. Almunder Algird, Dr. Doron Sommer and Dr. Matteo de Notaris. For our first event we look forward to welcoming many world-renowned international faculty including Dr. Doo-Sik Kong, Dr. Amin Kassam, Dr. Pascal Lavergne, Dr. Francesco Corrivetti, Dr. Kris Moe, Dr. Iacopo Dallan & Dr. Pierre-Olivier Champagne.
