ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Dr. Kesh Reddy was born in India and trained for a short time in the UK before joining the Neurosurgery Residency Training Program in Manitoba. After completion of neurosurgical training and a fellowship in critical care, he became faculty at McMaster University and is now the most senior neurosurgeon at the University. He started the Neurosurgery residency program in 2000 and after 3 years as program director, was appointed clinical and academic head of Neurosurgery, the position he served until 2016.

He was the Site Chief of Surgery for 20 years and Interim Surgeon in Chief at HHS for 18 months. He has been, and continues to be the head of Neurosurgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital and has been a Clinical Professor since 2009.  He served on the RCS examination, specialty and adjudication committees and continues to be actively involved in teaching at all levels – undergraduate, resident and most recently fellowship. He is currently the Fellowship Director of Skull Base and Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery at McMaster University.
