The fellowship provides a focused rhinologic and skull base experience in a tertiary-care adult and pediatric academic environment.

This fellowship emphasizes inflammatory paranasal sinus disorders, revision sinus surgery, complex frontal sinus disease and minimally invasive/endoscopic approaches to the paranasal sinuses and skull base for treatment of pathologies including infection, optic nerve lesions, CSF leak management, clivus and upper C-spine lesions and resection of benign and malignant sinonasal neoplasms utilizing trans-nasal and transorbital endoscopic corridors.

Dr. Mohd Afiq Mohd Slim

I am a Malaysian Otorhinolaryngologist born on June 2, 1986, completed my medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2011. I hold an MSc in Advanced Surgical Practice from Cardiff University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Dundee. My pre-fellowship training includes a Specialty Trainee role in Otorhinolaryngology at the West of Scotland Deanery.
My interests encompass teaching, research, and leadership. I have served as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow and have taken on leadership roles within the British Rhinological Society Juniors. My research includes numerous audits and publications aimed at enhancing ENT surgical outcomes.
